Transition.

With this image I wanted to convey a visual representation of the transition of nature. This mighty oak still stands but recently some around my local area have died, or been removed due to new housing, roads etc. It is such a shame to see these beautiful trees disappear. The technicals - The image was formed from two exposures, both taken on large format 5x4" film. One on infrared film, one on colour negative. They were taken minutes apart then later scanned and merged in Photoshop.
