Transformation

I have been photographing Gregory in the streets of Oakland for years and each photo seems to capture a different man. Gregory was born and raised in Oakland and now spends most of his days panhandling and looking for odd jobs around Oakland. Gregory represents the ever changing nature of all of us --we evolve as the years go on and we can never represent the same person once we have been photographed--the very act of the photograph changes you.
