Tranquil Reflection

Trying to find a way to paint people in the way I have recognized them; the person lied down in front of me is the one who whenever I thought of her I can picture her in the mirror but this time I am the one who is recording her reflection by means of painting, what do we reveal of ourselves by looking in the mirror_ is there a way to identify our own very inner self!

Simultaneously, I have always loved Manet’s The Dead Toreador and found a way to relate to that work in some way by which I can keep myself as a painter related to the history of art’s thread.
