Tin Lizards Token

Tin Lizards is a collaboration between photographer Robert LeBlanc and 96 Studio, the first of our commissioned projects underwritten by collectors.

Beginning October 1, Robert will begin this photographic journey by way of the routes of the Amtrak railways. Shot strictly in black & white with the Leica Monochrom camera, the project will be developed over five months- a black and white novel of images that can only be experienced by train, taking viewers on a personal journey across the American heartland.

Tin Lizards is an invite-only commissioned drop, limited to 10 collectors. The holder of each Tin Lizards Ticket token will receive four images from the collection of 45, 1/1 photographs (2 are reserved for Robert and 3 for 96 Studio). In addition to being part of the exclusive collector group holding images from this series, all collectors will have access to a private Twitter Community Space acting as the series "Conductors." Collectors will have front row seats to the process, and the opportunity to play an interactive role in creating this body of work, voting on strategy, planning and executing each Amtrak trip. Robert may Tweet from the road, asking Conductors to vote for a destination or direction. Conductors may also take part in the editorial process, weighing in on the final selection of images for the series. A limited edition run of 15 handmade books will be created after the series is completed (10 for collectors, 3 for Robert, and 2 for 96 Studio). Each collector will receive a signed and numbered edition. In addition to the book, collectors will receive 2 more surprise limited physical objects, designed by Robert’s creative studio W(AN)T™.
