Part of a series on the subtleties of animal abuse in and amongst the animal entertainment industry. What we might deem as talent, or a strong inclination to obedience often comes at the price of physical violence.

First of a series, and the most subtle this illustration depicts a costumed tiger; though, at first glance may be seen as playful, and majestic, the line becomes blurred as a sense of grief encompasses the averted gaze. What it is part of the act is a double edged sword, keeping the tiger in line, and also entertaining the viewer.
