It troubles me that if you can't feel it, I can't tell you. I suppose that's why I make images. I think about the atavism prompted by stone circles. They have always been above the mundane. Decades ago, I had a furniture design company and I called it Stone Circle. I was struck how the design was and is perfect for it's 'function'. Its been said that every age gets the 'henge' it deserves. So it's been a place of mysticism, an astrological instrument, a forum and a site for the hang-man's trade. I wonder what ours is today? As weathered and as old as they are they never feel like ruins to me. They engage with us and always will.
