This photo was taken in Avanos, the beautiful town of Cappadocia where pottery works are common. The red color clay is taken from the Kızılırmak river which means "red river". Raw clay containing some grains are sieved through sieves. While visiting this production site, I noticed sieves hanging on the wall. I likened their patterns to a "thought bubble". I added a mirror on to the wall. I aligned the potter's face on the mirror and I catch his thoughtful expression. It is as if his deep thoughts would pass from the mirror to the sieves and would continue from there to infinity.
