I am kind of a control freak. The worst is when I think I have controlled something and it turns out not. I've come to think of my control freakishness as a super power and try to use it exclusively to guide my own thoughts. Sometimes it doesn't work and I just need to lie in the floor until I can draw it out. My tear stained image search for inspiration led me to an AH MAH ZING RED* FAUX FUR COAT with GIANT WHITE STARS. The photo from an old Brazilian Vogue told me every single thing I could want to know about the photo and more EXCEPT who MADE this COAT!! Regardless, just knowing it exists(ed)! (Swoon!) was more than enough to get me drawing away. It's good to have tools. And a super power. *Coat is a beautiful deep blue red in real life, but I had to make it black for my own purposes.
