About Artist (Part 1): Eveline Brodsky was born in Ukraine during the time of the Soviet Union. This was a time and place where fine art and artists were deeply respected and appreciated. When she was 13 and her mother was prepping her for medicals school, Eveline announced (out of the blue) that she was going to be an artist, despite of the fact that she never painted anything before. This came as a deep shock to her mother, a mathematics professor and her father, a chemistry professor, who started to question where this artistic spirit had come from.
