Θέτις

Θέτις (Thetis) was a sea nymph, a water goddess, and sometimes leader of the Nereids, daughters of the ancient sea god Nereus. She was also the mother of Achilles, and an early Alcman hymn exists that identifies Thetis as the creator of the universe.
