The pressing force, the looming giant Leaving footprints in the snow A well to catch the hopes and fears Dissolve and bend by surface glow I am become death
The sun glows white through distant snowfall illuminating the untouched snow covered landscape where a antenna pierces the horizon.
To close the year, having experienced enough trauma to last several lifetimes in a few short months alongside my witnessing of global horrors, I grieve who I was and celebrate who I will become. I hold hope, but I will never look forward for me. I will look forward for others, for our interdependent community. I hold hope as resistance, a banner, a cry. I shed what has held me comfortable and I speak to then. I am tired, I am wounded, but I persist.
