On December 27th, 2020 at 9pm, I recorded every single word that came to mind for an hour without speaking. I then condensed some of them into the form of poetry and created a digital painting to accompany my thoughts. Presented as an NFT (digital asset) along with a 30”x20”flat canvas print (fingerprinted for authenticity), a decorated photo print of the poem (signed) , and a handwritten unedited transcript of the entire hour of words (signed). This equates to an exact hours worth of time in my mind. My first digital thought.
The Poem: I thought I was just collateral damage, Searching for a way To stop an explosion that already happened
But I was always the solution The key To preventing the bomb that never went off And anything else explosive in nature
I saw myself with demon horns I was tainted, as if the universe has made me some sort of hideous thing My vision was foggy The horns were bull-like instead Those were a symbol of my strength
I THINK The soul pulses It isn’t a beaming beacon of light It beats like a heart The soul is the essence of life itself The key to all creation
I THINK Words have energy I’m thinking as they read or write There’s something about that relationship
Every word all being for one reason excites me, They’re all contributing to the end Which, in my eyes, is the “boom” of understanding learning Thoughts are explosive every time we learn a bomb goes off A tiny little poof in our brains Slow down and appreciate
I think. Source and Decorated print: https://twitter.com/visualafterlife/status/1344037592002678784
