The Terrible Light

This work is from the series "The Theatre of Shame", a collection of digital collage artworks about shame and prejudice versus pride and body-acceptance., and shows constructed human figures, made from multiple self-portraits, placed into dreamlike, surreal landscapes.

In the work "The Terrible Light" we see a deep forest where rays from the hidden sun breaks trough the trees. A naked figure with multiple limbs partly hides, partly reaches towards the revealing light.

Works from the series "The Theatre of Shame" has been exhibited in London and Berlin, at the Royal Scottish Academy of Arts in Edinburgh, and published in Advocate (US), Männer (Germany) and Out&About (UK).
