The Robot and the Self

This is a story or an allegory about the robot who searched for meaning in the desert. Image, text and voice were AI generated by feeding prompts into the machine in a long process of trial and error. They then were selected, treated and merged in the final editing process. I see it as a new way of filmmaking and making art, collaborating with this new sophisticated technology as a tool for us humans to bring out new stories, new forms and new ideas. This work actually reflects back on what it means to be an artificially-intelligent machine that may become self aware, leading it to deep philosophical existential thoughts...
