The Red Devil

An ancient statue carved from red rock. An ancient belief nobody can recall. An ancient stone nobody can recognise. They say the old gods still dwell here... Adam's 25th mint on SuperRare is part of a series of works exploring our reactions to the unfamiliar and how our interpretations give birth to symbolism. The ‘red object’ series of works all derive from the same single mixed-media painting, which Adam has processed repeatedly through a GAN app and then digitally reworked, resulting in these variations.
