Over the course of a seven-day backpacking trip through the high country of the Sierras in California's Yosemite National Park it never once rained and every day, except for the morning during which this photo was taken, had crystal clear blue skies. The clouds were turbulent this morning, even without any rain and the wind was fierce. The perspective here is around the area of Evelyn Lake in the central part of the park.
