I lived for a good number of years in Japan, Kyoto, to be exact. Many of my weekends, time off, whatever moment away I could get, I was off exploring. A backpack, a tent, and an idea for an adventure. So many mountains, so many hikes, so many clouds, forests, and rocky outcroppings.
My mind is a sponge for absorbing experience and hiding it in my subconscious. I can see it, I can remember it, feel it, everything, but try and get it out... These moment where bits of my past make themselves known again, come out and play the strings of all the emotions and vibes...i really do love them. Ask me to paint a mountain, I'll spend hours just trying to figure out how to get the foreground. Tell me to remember a moment that made me happy, and...this.
Enjoy the mountain with me, but the important thing is the vibe it creates within you :)
