Take a satisfying look because this may be all that we get to see of these great cats in an alarmingly close future, when they'd belong not in the great woods of the Corbett reserve or the tundras of the north but to history books and museums alone. It is saddening to see these misunderstood creatures be abused, mistreated, and killed by not just poachers but also societies of farmers and villagers and government agencies alike! How many instances have we had, that we've seen tigers poisoned which seems like a better way because many are beaten to death, gruesomely and pitilessly, and in many cases they don't die immediately. They suffer for hours, days, drowning in that pain before dying. It bring great pain to me, every time I hear of these but even these are becoming a norm. Traps could be set or sedatives and tranqs could be used to harmlessly ship them off to reserved or protection where they can be of no harm but very few make this effort that it almost doesn't matter.
