This piece is one of my older works, created as part of a Visual Creativity project during my university years. The idea behind the assignment was to reinterpret and merge two iconic masterpieces from art history by bringing the visual language and formal structure of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica" into the narrative setting and composition of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper"
The goal of the project was not simply to place two famous works side by side, but to explore the new meanings and visual possibilities that emerge from their fusion. It was an attempt to see how the violence, chaos, and suffering expressed in "Guernica" could coexist with the symbolic and narrative atmosphere of "The Last Supper", creating a fresh interpretation of both.
