Whatever we choose to do in life is essentially like gambling. We can say that we are all gamblers without the need to deal with a bookmaker. Often the fear of failure assails us along with the anxiety of expectations. This work wants to represent these moments by enclosing them between an image and a short poem.
Every action is a gamble Unintentional or premeditated A balance between cause and effect We bet consciously or unconsciously Often risking more than we have Afraid of fate or of the outcome that will come The dealer, algid, observes impartially Without labelling us with any judgement Greedy about our emotional investments We spill love, career, passion on the table We look for subterfuge and ways to cheat But there are no shortcuts or jokers We bet consciously or unconsciously Les jeux sont fait et rien ne va plus
