The First Threshold is a supporting narrative artwork from ARCHO — Genesis I, connected to Chapter 22 of the Master Bible.
ARMAN follows the Black Jaguar through a narrow path until he reaches a stone threshold beyond which three paths appear. One offers safety. Another carries the sound of someone in need. The Jaguar does not choose for him.
ARMAN chooses the difficult path. He discovers that becoming a Keeper is not about saving others by force, but about making the way toward salvation possible for another.
When he reaches out without power or command, the Heart Seed responds with calm rather than force. The first threshold is crossed—not because ARMAN was chosen by the path, but because ARMAN chose the path.
The First Threshold is not Genesis Artifact #001. It is a companion work that expands the narrative and atmosphere surrounding the beginning of the ARCHO Universe. The Heart Seed remains the primary Genesis artifact
