This piece did not begin with a single image.
For days and weeks, I explored hundreds of paintings, sketches, collages, and visual works from different eras and styles not to find a specific aesthetic, but to discover something that did not yet exist. Fragments of color, movement, light, texture, and chaos were gathered from different visual worlds, as if assembling the remains of a forgotten dream. Throughout the process, countless elements collided, merged, fractured, and reformed. Hundreds of variations were born and discarded until a form emerged that no longer resembled any of its origins.
But that was only the beginning. The resulting image was repeatedly manipulated, reconstructed, and transformed. Entire sections were removed, rebuilt, or reinvented. New details were introduced that had never existed in the original material. What remained was not merely an image, but a new entity something suspended between a painting, a collage, a sculpture, and a dream. Sometimes it feels less like this work was created and more like it was discovered.
As if it had always existed somewhere among millions of images, ideas, and memories, waiting for its scattered fragments to be found and brought back into the world.
