The Fall

The fall. I'm really nervous sharing this. This was an actual selfie of myself I took of the injuries done to my face and neck. The dark spots are the purple bruise I had that covered my chin and neck. I looked like I had a purple beard! The May 30th fall at home was the worst I've ever had. And what's scarier was the fact I didn't trip over anything. Nor was I having an episode of Vertigo. I first landed on my chin followed by my knees, which were just as bruised as my face. And thankfully, nothing was broken. I manipulated the photo because I wanted to share how my health ailments leave me feeling vulnerable, doing what used to be the simplest of tasks.
