The Choir

A series of creations using the village as the muse, through depicting the people in the village, the works arouse our thoughts of life and human nature. Often pastoral village paintings are seen as subjects from older times, but it is because of this extinction-focused belief that Zhang Jiong decided to re-examine village life and reflect it through his art. After witnessing the changes in the lives of the villagers, he decided to cultivate a piece of “private land” at the corner of the village.
