The Catch

'The Catch' Paper collage A4 format

Created on 18/08/2025

In this collage, female power is depicted in all its complexity. It is both soft and attractive, and dangerous, like a predator who knows her own worth.

The men seem miniaturised here, like decorative figures in her world, and her gaze and posture dictate the rules of the game.

'The Catch' is a visual metaphor for matriarchy, when a woman is the centre of the universe and others revolve around her.

She is the trap, the reward, and the test.
