The Burning Chrome

The Burning Chrome is a two-part work, consisting of a digital and a physical part. The digital part is a video work representing the Me So Small installation "Chrome" - a grimace drawing (Liquid Chrome) on an Aston Martin model (DB5) (1:8) covered in acrylic paint + figure (self-portrait of the artist (plastic)) on a white wooden painting board - as well as the destruction of the same by burning. The physical part is a bronze cube (approx. 20cm x 20cm x 20cm) containing the remains of the burnt installation.
