The Breath

'The Breath' is a digital oil painting that embodies a visual representation of the times we are in. Highlighting that this simple act of breathing can cause so much chaos in our lives.

As I walked down the street in the cold air, I watched people walk right through their own breath. I couldn't help but think this invisible killer suddenly had form. That these misty puffs of air had been the cause of the struggles that my family, friends and their loved ones had been so heavily affected by. This painting for me represents the cause and the effect, the breath in and out until it stops.
