The Blue Gate

What could be more magical than to place a small window into the blue sky in the middle of a roof with these patterns and design? Another roof of the unique Boroujerdi's house of Kashan. It is impossible for me to enter the rooms of this historic house and not look at these details for several minutes.

The frame is from my collection "Ceilings Around the World" in which I captured the ceilings of several historic landmarks in different countries.
