I created this piece with a heavy heart, yet with hope. To me, the wings of this woman embody the spirit of Gaza’s people—fragile, yet determined to fly. The wounded crescent on her forehead reflects the endless nights of war, while the flowers blooming on her dress are voices of life and hope that refuse to be silenced, even beneath the rubble.”
