The avenue

A single stripe of pavement winds through this oh so special section of redwoods in Northern California. This was one of the very first places I visited when I was considering moving to the area and has since become a mandatory detour every time I travel past it. Every time I look at this photo it reminds me of road trips past and at the same time, the travels that are yet to come.
