The first face, you show to the world.
The second face, you show to your close friends and your family.
The third face, you never show anyone. It is the truest reflection of who you are.
What you show to the outside world matters the least mostly it is fake in the sense it's more diplomatic and perfect. Could be because you want to be accepted somewhere somehow. It doesn't last long but surely is the least painful and pleasant of all The comfort that we get is addictive but sooner or later the addiction becomes poisonous and needs to be treated.
The second face that we possess is what we show to our friends and family is what makes you who you are it is semi-real but not the truest sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad but your true nature is a sense. somewhere between the face, you show to the world and the face behind the conscious it lingers because being slightly fake and diplomatic gets you places. Sugarcoating things makes you come across as an approachable amiable human being and the fact that being likable boosts your self-confidence. The fight between what you are and what you want to be the second face.
It takes a lot of courage to present the 3rd face to the world as The true reflection of who you really are mainly because if you don't do something in a certain way you are considered a rebel, an outcast. The world always tries to suppress what it cannot control or understand. Just be true to yourself and you will be surprised by the wonders it can do. Only when you lose yourself you do find everything. But the real question is will anyone ever look up to you if you open up about your deepest insecurities? Will, you still get the fame and encouragement for being yourself truly? I can show you the path but you have to walk it yourself the 3rd face.
We remain authentic as long as each face contains some real part of us, consciously or subconsciously.
This is an original sketch made by me. The sketch was made on paper and then scanned the image and used adobe photoshop manipulations to create the final art piece. Part of an original sketch Series.
