The 24-7 Online Machine
This Visual Toy presents a man totally fused with the machine, with its different devices, twenty-four hours seven days a week connected to the internet. Without rest or disconnection, this human head never seems to stop, receiving notifications while playing and browsing. Also like all Visual Toy, it shows us the illusion that it could be a toy, an interactive decorative object with which to communicate, or simply press its buttons and wait for its reactions. Perhaps a new SIRI, a new assistant, perhaps the human being of the future, static and sedentary with no need other than virtual reality to live, discarding his own body.
It is a being that seems to be totally absorbed by technology, it is not a criticism, just an exhibition of the contemporary human being with its many faces and edges. Maybe that being is happy and delighted to live fully connected, maybe it is a slave, maybe it is just a life support that keeps its head alive or maybe just a new technological toy.
This Visual Toy tells us about the relationship between humans and technology. As they melt more and more. And as all of them take on their meaning before the viewer and their imagination to build their own meaning, thus extracting from the observer their vision of this technological world that grows unstoppable.----------------
