The whole tezpole incident brought to my attention how lightly the NFT community reacted to it , and I am not saying this as a criticism. We instantly turned it into a meme and in some cases praised the compatability of it with some artworks displayed. We took the seriousness from it and yet even in all seriousness I think tezpole , (probably) unintentionally , brought back the old question of "Is anything art if you display it at a gallery?" and twisted it into "Is any place a gallery if you display art in it?"
I specially put Duchamp's "Fountain" to emphasize on the similarity of "The society of independent artists 1971" exhibition to NFTs : a place where you can display anything if you pay the fee.
