Tessie Talk

This is a photo taken by my mother as a child in the early 1970s of her favorite toy: the redheaded ventriloquist doll, Tessie Talk. Mom remembers Tessie Talk as a gift from grandpa Vince, who also happened to have red hair (an anomaly within the family); but grandma remembers Tessie Talk as a gift from mom’s godfather, uncle Jimmy. All proceeds go to mom.
