Temptation II

Can a person resist temptation? We are just people with weaknesses and indulgent desires, but we are rational beings. Is succumbing to temptation a solution? And what example will we ultimately set for others in our pursuit of possessing something? I observe as she succumbs to temptation once again and hopes that everything will be all right. She does not seem naive to me. I believe that someday the apple will not be a forbidden fruit, but a symbol of knowledge.
