Tekton VI

Tekton - ancient Greek word referring to an artisan or craftsman, often specifically to a builder and or architect.

The sixth piece in a series that began as an evolution of an experiment involving a well-known brand of toy building bricks. Here, these are viewed isometrically and arranged to create interesting massing and pseudo-architectural compositions. This iteration continues experimentation with simple massing forms created by playing with subtle offsets and scaling governed loosely by the Silver Ratio (1:1.414).

As with previous entries to this series, viewers are invited to try to 'make sense' of the arrangement regardless of the viability of its circulation or structure.
