Tekton III

Tekton - ancient Greek word referring to an artisan or craftsman, often specifically to a builder and or architect.

The third piece in a series that began as an evolution of an experiment involving a well-known brand of toy building bricks. Here, these are viewed isometrically and arranged to create interesting massing and pseudo-architectural compositions.

As with the previous explorations, circulation in such a structure is quite impossible, although viewers are still invited to try to 'make sense' of the arrangement regardless.

Additionally, subtle print texture and design imperfections have been left in as a means to offset the highly geometric nature of the composition.
