TEAPOT The practice of drinking tea, as we know it, has a long history in China, having originated there during the Tang Dynasty. A teapot is the container you put the tea leaves and hot water in to steep. The teapot is a symbol of friendship, of telling stories and confiding in each other.
THE COLLECTION Prato, Italy. A moment of encounter between different cultures that intertwine to celebrate the Chinese New Year together. In ancient China, lanterns were used to provide light and eventually as aspects of Buddhist worship. Today they are used only for decorations and modern forms of celebration and worship, but around the world they are still a strong attraction for all the curious of this magnificent culture.
