Surrender

Creator: Alissa Mills

“Surrender” captures a moment of profound release and acceptance. In this striking piece, a woman looks upward, her face illuminated by the radiant sun breaking through melting clouds. Tears of light stream down her face, symbolizing a poignant blend of sorrow and surrender. The vibrant, swirling background of pink, yellow, green and teal evokes a tumultuous inner world, yet the woman’s expression reflects a serene acceptance. This artwork poignantly portrays the moment of surrender in the struggle against fentanyl addiction, highlighting the release of pain and the embracing of hope and healing.
