I spent numerous mornings and nights wading through this freshwater lagoon to photograph the magic light and creatures. Weeks later that news of large saltwater crocodiles over 4 metres long living there sent shivers down my spine.

The challenges of photographing in far northern Australia never cease to amaze me, as I chase the light through the landscape, discovering unique plants and animals along the way.
