This faded photograph was placed on my Los Angeles archive wall by a window 25 years ago with the intention of seeing the long term effect. I made this photo of a stylish Jay Adams riding the vertical wall of an empty swimming pool in West LA during the pool skating revolution in 1977. It was never published at the time, but later seen in my books, then magazines and films worldwide. Originally printed in the 80's, it was moved from my NYC home/office wall in the same acrylic box frame it’s still in. It has not been taken down until today, 15 November 2021, when I signed the back. As this is my first NFT, I have decided to give the collector this original framed print, including the push pin that fell inside the box as I removed it from the wall. Whoever purchases this NFT from me will have this physical artifact shipped to them. I think it's interesting to consider the connection between the original fading piece of art and it’s digital representation which will live on indefinitely.
