Storm Runner

The idea behind Storm Runner was to create an unorthodox pose for a ballet dancer, by combining the grace of a dancer with the power of a sprinter. The fabric in the shot is exactly how it fell taking on the form of a tornado, this combined with the running pose made it the perfect composition.

This was shot in the studio using a Canon R5 with a Sigma 50mm Art lens and a shutter speed of 1/200s with a two-light setup.
