Static Shocked

An abstract digital composition where code manipulates an image pixel by pixel. Different parts of the code allow patterns to emerge in the picture creating a static glitch effect. The static reflects the overwhelming amount of stimuli in today's society. Rather than demand attention like loud advertisements, this piece quietly tells the viewer to internally reflect and have a moment of silence amongst the static.
