Starry Shrine

A great scenery of Milky Way galaxy over the old shrine located on the top of Mount Zao, Yamagata Prefecture, JAPAN. At an altitude of 1841 meters, I could feel the universe much closer than it was. I wondered if someone lived in times long past might have looked upon the stars like I did. The silence touched my heart deeply… I will never forget these memories for my whole life.
