St. Clare

Through the fire element, we transmute everything that needs to be left behind, only the pure and essential remains showing us what's really there, what's really important.

This images are from the "Element" project. "Elements" is an evocative and captivating experimental film photography project that delves into the profound connection between nature's elements and the art of capturing images on film. The project aims to explore and document the unique visual transformations that occur when these elements interact with traditional photographic negatives. By intervening with water, fire, air, and earth, the project seeks to uncover the hidden stories and visual poetry embedded within each element. The interplay between the elements and the photographic medium creates a unique and unpredictable visual language, where the artist becomes a facilitator, allowing nature's elements to reveal their secrets. Each image tells a story of transformation, as the elements reshape and interact with the emulsion, yielding breathtaking and often ethereal results.
