Spring Crocus

I've always loved the springtime. It's a time of rebirth and fresh beginnings. Sometimes I wish everyday could be spring. For this image I got down into foliage and positioned the flower in front of a dead tree stump. The illumination comes from indirect afternoon light. I feel it accentuates the softness an beauty of these flowers.
