My severe migraines began after a car accident in 2013, with a brain contusion. They came on that year most often. My contusion initially caused dizzy spells & a few times I had likely, 'petite-mal' seizures, that didn't last long, causing my visual/audible senses not seem to act normal, as time momentarily kind of stood still; then I snapped out of it. It's drugs like Psilocybin, common in 'magic' mushrooms, [that have similar effects as LSD], but way more intense than the seizures. The brain contusion caused me to perceive geometric patterns, chequer-board swirling, as visual distortion, like curved 'zig-zags' that seemed stuck on my eye's retina. No matter which way I turned my head, that visual distortion was in same the place, onto my optical nerve; then soon went away. I had no idea what made them appear, then go away. Those visions were caused when my brain and cervical discs were shaken by that kid driver who 't-boned' my VW Jetta right at me, on driver's side. These geometric petite to associated drug 'hallucinations' are a type that's been documented, consistent with many people; that were first catalogued in 1920s by psychologist Dr. Heinrich Kluver. These unusual visuals inspired my short Art movie.
