Spin

'Spin' by Voltaine captures the grace and power of the human figure in motion. It explores forms of repetition found in nature and applies them to modern dance in a way only possible using the procedural nature of the Houdini visual effects workflow. The piece combines a variety of techniques including motion capture, modelling, animation and generative shading.
