Spider Light

My favorite photo I've ever taken, from a hike alone in the woods of Ohio.

The sight of this web immediately stopped me in my tracks and took the breath out of my lungs- bathed in sunshine, alone, unfinished. An eye staring out from the open air.

I met its gaze and held my breath as I took this photo- begging the clouds not to move another inch, hoping against hope I could hold this moment forever.
