National Geographic made the bold choice to publish a supplemental pull-out map of all reported Spam Yeti sightings in the Northwestern United States. At the time of publication there was still no confirmed photographs of the fantastical beast, so all the presented images are artistic interpretations based on multiple descriptions provided by witness accounts from the woods. Multiple encounters occurred after hearing clanging noises in the distance, and further investigation revealed the great beast seemingly frustrated attempting to access the rich contents of the canned hams beaten about rocks and boulders along rivers. Witnesses confirmed they were heavily intoxicated and some details may not be 100% accurate but consensus was found amongst the detailed reports and only those common details were incorporated to further graphics accompanying this story.
